Welcome to our Adventure Book! We owe the name of
our blog to one of our favorite movies, Up.
Here you'll find the highlights of our family's adventures and hopefully a few
laughs from our detours.
My wife, Melody, and I live in Utah with our two wonderful daughters. We are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon). When we can catch a moment between work, school, and home improvement projects, we love spending time outdoors, visiting family and friends, and exploring our community.
My wife is a talented baker, skillful scrap-booker, and all around babe. She has a knack for calming our daughters down after their latest tumble and encouraging me to step up my game and be a better father. I look up to her and admire how much she does with a smile for our family.
I can't wait for the time I get to spend with my two daughters. I used to think that the way video game characters ran everywhere was ridiculous but my first daughter has shown me it may have been more realistic than I realized. She runs everywhere! It can get problematic at times too. While my wife was pregnant with our 2nd, Abby got loose in the store and bolted. Melody, being nearly full term couldn't catch her (I was at work when this happened)! Luckily someone stepped in and grabbed our little runner. Our youngest is just full of smiles and thankfully doesn't run yet, in fact, she hardly even rolls over yet.
